"ማንም ሊሠራ የማይችልባት ሌሊት ትመጣለች"/ Night is coming, when no one can work."/

 

"ቀን ሳለ የላከኝን ሥራ ላደርግ ይገባኛል፤ ማንም ሊሠራ የማይችልባት ሌሊት ትመጣለች።"  ዮሐንስ 9፡4 

አንድ የትምህርት ቤት ወዳጄ፣ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ የማነብበው እና ወደ ቤተክርስቲያን የማዘወትረው ዕድሜዬ ሲገፋ ነው ያለኝ አይረሳኝም። 

አንዳንድ ጊዜ ትልቅ አካል ባለው ሰው  ውስጥ ትንሽ አዕምሮ እናያለን፤ ይህ መንቃት በነበረበት ዘመን ተኝቶ ያሳለፈ ሰው መገለጫ ነው።   

ብዙውን ጊዜ አቅመኛው ዘመናችንን ለራሳችን ሥጋዊ ደስታ ልንሰዋው እንፈልጋለን። የዘመናችንን አመሻሽ ደግሞ "ለነፍሴ ልኑር" በሚል ርዕስ መንፈሳዊያን ሠፈር ጉብኝት እንጀምራለን።

ለፈጠረን እና ላዳነን የዘመን ዝቃጭ፣ የዕድሜ ሙጣጭ አይገባውም፣ እርሱ ዋናችን እንጂ አማራጫችን አይደለም። ዕድሜ እና ዓለም ያልበላው ጉልበት በጌታ ማጀት ውስጥ ሊንጠፈጠፍ ይገባል።

የእኛ ባልሆነ ነገ ላይ ቀጠሮ አንያያዝ፣ ዛሬያችን ይቀደስ፣ አሁናችንን ለሚገባው መስጠትን እንለማመድ። ወጣትነትን መቀደስ፣ ለበሰለ፣ጥልቀት ላለው ጉልምስና ልብ እና ሰውነትን ያዘጋጃል። 

"As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work." John 9:4

I'll never forget a school friend of mine, who told me that I only started reading the Bible and going to church when I got older.

Sometimes, we see a small mind in a large body; this is the sign of someone who has spent their waking time sleeping.

Often, we want to sacrifice our prime years for our own physical pleasures. And then, in the evening of our lives, we begin a spiritual journey under the guise of "let me live for my soul."

The one who created and saved us does not deserve the dregs of our time, the leftovers of our lives. He is our priority, not an option. The energy untouched by age and the world should be poured into the Lord’s treasury.

Let's not make appointments with what is not ours; let today be holy, let's learn to give our present to whom it belongs. Consecrating our youth prepares the heart and body for a mature, deep, and rich adulthood.
